Description
This form is for use by landlords who either own or manage commercial property in Florida. The template should be used when a commercial tenant has stopped paying rent under a commercial lease. This is a quick and simple way to take the first step in ensuring your tenant makes a prompt rental payment. It lets your tenant know you are serious and that an eviction will be filed if payment is not received. HINT: You should take a look at your lease agreement and see if your lease requires you to give the tenant additional days. Many commercial leases do! If so, you need to tweak the time for payment as required by the lease. This is a template that gives landlords basic guidance but you must read the lease to make sure you are not violating it.
